New Year resolutions are a tradition, most common in the Western Hemisphere but also found in the Eastern Hemisphere, in which a person resolves to change an undesired trait or behaviour, to accomplish a personal goal or otherwise improve their life. The most common resolutions are around health, wealth and wellbeing.

As a new year begins there are all sorts of emotions, it differs from person to person. Excitement, anticipation, fear, joy, worry and feelings of unfinished business from the previous year.
